US seizes assets of five top PKK members

In a significant move to support Turkey's fight against the terrorist PKK, the US yesterday declared top PKK members Cemil Bayik, Duran Kalkan, Remzi Kartal, Sabri Ok and Adem Uzun "illicit drug traffickers," and seized their assets. In 2009, Washington added top PKK members Murat Karayilan, Ali Riza Altun and Zubeyir Aydar to a black list.
