Visa crisis resolved for Turkish pilgrims

Thousands of aspiring Turkish pilgrims who have been waiting near the Iraq border due to a visa crisis between Turkey and Iraq have finally continued their journey to Saudi Arabia to perform the Muslim pilgrimage. The visa crisis came to a head last week when a group of some 2,000 Turkish pilgrims were stopped by Iraqi officials and prevented from continuing on to Saudi Arabia to perform the Muslim pilgrimage due to a lack of visas.
