Wise men from business circles express support for peace process

President of Union of Turkish Chambers of Agriculture Semsi Bayraktar, a figure from the business circles involved in the list of ‘wise men' which has announced by the government to take an active role in the country's recent efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue, yesterday made a statement to the Star daily. Bayraktar said that they have accepted the duty in order to contribute to the process which was initiated by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "We will do our best to ensure peace and end the conflict. We will try to prevent the blood and tears in line with an approach protecting and integrating Turkey's unitary structure," Bayraktar said. President of ConfederationofTurkish Tradesman and Craftsmen (TESK) Bendevi Palandoken also made a statement, indicating that they would find the opportunity of receiving the opinions of tradesmen and craftsmen who have been damaged by terrorism the most, and thus the region would be provided with welfare.
